Clownfish and Anemone belong to the same subfamily and are native to wide ranges of warm waters of Indian and Pacific Oceans including Great Barrier Reef and the Red Sea. Clownfish shows an overall yellow, red, orange or black colors with white bars or patches on some of the species. Largest species has recorded a length of 18 inches while the smallest one has a length of just 4 inches.

Clownfish feed on undigested matter that otherwise could potentially harm sea anemone while the fecal matters of clownfish provides nutrients to sea anemones. Activity of clownfish generates greater water circulations which helps sea anemone. Clownfish along with certain other species are the only fish that can remain safe from the poison of sea anemones. Clownfish generally remain in a large group. They are very popular species in Reef Aquariums. However, recently, clownfish are also bred in the tanks to reduce the number taken from the wild. As compared to wild-caught fish, tank-bred clownfish are likely to survive more. Clownfish feed on algae, planktons, mollusks and crustaceans.

Cisco is a salmonid (family of ray-finned fish) fish. They differ from other members of the genus by having upper and lower jaws of approximately equal length. Five endemic species of Laurentian Great Lakes are thought to be of very recent evolution. Cisco species have recently been subjected to lots of research that is being carried out to determine the relationships among the species that have evolved recently.

Ciscoes are extensively explored in commercial fisheries especially in the Laurentian Great Lakes, where deep water forms are considered as the basis of chub fishery. Chub fishery was exclusively based on the various species of Ciscoes. The fishery continues even when the stocks of Ciscoes are falling and other species are spreading through the system. At many places, Cisco species have declined in great numbers. Some of the breeders believe that Ciscoes represent

Elephantnose fish is an elephantfish native to the rivers of West and Central Africa especially in the lower Niger River Basin. They prefer muddy and slow moving rivers and pools with submerged branches. Elephantnose is the most commonly available aquarium fish in various aquarium stores throughout the United States.

Elephantnose has a dark brown to black laterally compressed body with a rear dorsal fin and anal fin of the same length. Their most striking feature is a elephant-trunk-like protrusion from their head. The protrusion is not actually a nose but a sensitive extension of the mouth that it used for self defense, communication, navigation and for finding their food items such as worms and insects. This organ and rest of the body is covered with electro-receptors. They have a very poor eyesight and hence they use a weak electric field for locating and catching their prey and for navigating in dark waters. They usually live from 6 to 10 years.

Escolar is a species of fish from temperate and tropical waters throughout the world. They are found at depths of 200-900 meters. Escolar is a widely used food fish in Europe, America and Asia. They are sometimes consumed raw. They are often sold as white-tuna and sometimes misleadingly or deceptively sold as butterfish, codfish, sea bass, orange roughy or oilfish or Hawaiian butterfish.

Escolar is a fast-swimming fish. It is dark brown in color and grow further darker with maturity until it becomes all black. They have prominent lateral keel and multiple finlets. Like oilfish, escolar can not metabolize wax esters, which are the part of their normal diet. Wax esters can often accumulate to give fairly large oil contents in the muscle meat that can cause gastrointestinal problems when escolars are consumed by humans. Although the effects are short lived but many cases of diarrhea and oily orange discharges have been reported even 36 hours after its consumption. Besides, stomach cramps, headaches, nausea, vomiting and loose bowel movements are also possible after the consumption of escolars. Many countries have legally banned the consumption of escolars.

Eulachon is a small anadromous ocean fish native along the Pacific Coast of North America from Northern California to Alaska. Eulachon is an important part of the diet of many ocean and shore predators. Besides, it is also used as a prominent source of food item for many people living near its spawning streams. Eulachons are also known by other names such as hooligan, ooligan or candlefish. Candlefish is the name given by early explorers of eulachons who often dried fatty spawning fish and strung on a wick, to be burned as a candle.

Eulachons often spend most of their adult lives in the ocean and return to their native freshwater streams and rivers to spawn. Due to this typical nature, one stream may see regular large runs of eulachons while a neighboring stream may have very few or none. In may happen that a river that

European Minnow is a species of freshwater fish and member of carp family that can be found throughout most of Eurasia, Great Britain, and from Spain to eastern Siberia. They are predominant in cool streams and well-oxygenated lakes and ponds. They are known for moving in large schools (groups of hundreds and thousands of fishes). Although they are sometimes called as Eurasian Minnows but the name is misleading because they occur only in fewer parts of Asia.

European minnow is a small, slender and dark-colored fish with blunt snout and small scales. Their belly is cream to pearl colored and changes to red in males during spawning season. Their size ranges from 8 to 10 cm long. They are common in fast flowing freshwaters and well-drained vegetated ponds. They are rarely used as aquarium fish despite the breeding in captivity being feasible. In aquariums, they should be kept in cold and fresh waters with a good supply of oxygen and a reasonable water current. In Scotland and Germany, European minnows are rarely found, where they have been declared as legally protected species.
