European Minnow is a species of freshwater fish and member of carp family that can be found throughout most of Eurasia, Great Britain, and from Spain to eastern Siberia. They are predominant in cool streams and well-oxygenated lakes and ponds. They are known for moving in large schools (groups of hundreds and thousands of fishes). Although they are sometimes called as Eurasian Minnows but the name is misleading because they occur only in fewer parts of Asia.

European minnow is a small, slender and dark-colored fish with blunt snout and small scales. Their belly is cream to pearl colored and changes to red in males during spawning season. Their size ranges from 8 to 10 cm long. They are common in fast flowing freshwaters and well-drained vegetated ponds. They are rarely used as aquarium fish despite the breeding in captivity being feasible. In aquariums, they should be kept in cold and fresh waters with a good supply of oxygen and a reasonable water current. In Scotland and Germany, European minnows are rarely found, where they have been declared as legally protected species.

Bat Ray is an eagle ray fish that can be found in muddy or sandy sloughs, estuaries, bays, kelp beds and rocky-bottomed shoreline in the eastern Pacific Ocean between the Oregon coast and the Gulf of California. Largest specimens of bat ray can grow up to 90 kg with a wingspan of 1.8 meters. Bat rays can live in environment with large range of salinities. Arowana is a fresh water bony fish. Arowana family of fish has a bony head and elongate body that is covered by large and heavy scales with a mosaic pattern of canals. Seahorse is a genus of fish that also include pipefish and leafy sea dragons. About 32 species of seahorse fishes are found in shallow tropical and temperate waters throughout the world. Cod fish is a generic name for a variety of other fishes. It is a popular food fish with mild flavor, low fat content and white flesh.
